Drowning is the second-leading cause of unintentional injury death among children ages 1 to 14 (after motor vehicle crashes), according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
Capital City Swim Club and Swim School's "Goggle UP" project strives to lower this number – to decrease the number of deaths and injuries from water-related accidents.
Our mission is to equip adults and children with water safety knowledge, awareness, and survival skills in order to reduce the chances of drowning.
Your child will learn the basics of swimming and have the chance to earn FREE swim lessons for the rest of the year, just by participating in Goggle UP. Swimmers will be entered into a drawing and the winner will be announced at 3pm on June 30th.
