This workshop will demonstrate an original technique for creating a vibrant, multi-layered collage using watercolor paints and a variety of other materials. The process for this creation is fairly simple and very approachable for any skill level and always results in a striking and dramatic artwork! However, it also has great creative potential that more experienced artists will enjoy exploring.

This project, which is inspired by the paintings of Gunther Gerzso, is one I designed and taught at the high level for many years. As such, it might be a great opportunity for art teachers searching for new assignments!

The three hour class should provide enough time for participants to learn the process and still leave with a finished product. This method also allows for endless variation and could easily be recreated with different results at home!
