Sanskrit is the language of yoga, consciousness and bliss. It is founded on the root sounds that emerged from the experiences of great sages in their deepest states of contemplation. This ancient mother language has more root sounds and words for consciousness and bliss than any other language in the world. All are encouraged to join this 8-week series and see for themselves how even the very first baby steps in this direction are mind blowing. This beautiful journey re-instills the sense of wonder, auspiciousness and joy, that we as adults seem to loose somewhere along the way into adulthood. Knowledge of the root sounds of Sanskrit will deepens our daily practice of yoga and naturally help us dissolve the multiple layers that cover our true blissful nature. We will start by learning Devanagari, the script of Sanskrit so we can read the original texts for ourselves. "Not only have I gained more knowledge, by far, from the study of Sanskrit than both my Masters and a PhD degree put together, but this journey has been most meaningful, opening and joyful." --- Geetanjali Tiwari (Geeta)Dates: January 12th to March 2nd, Saturday mornings 9 to 10.15AM
